The Ministry of Construction of Nizhny Novgorod Region is a regional executive authority responsible for construction across Nizhny Novgorod Region. Its powers include issuing permits for the construction of capital construction projects.

Activities

The Ministry issues building permits for both residential and non-residential facilities. In the first half of 2026, the agency issued a permit for the construction of the first building of the Avtorika residential complex in the Avtozavodsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, being built by the developer SZ StroyUslugi-5 as part of integrated territory development.

On 24 July 2026, the ministry issued RVB LLC (the merged company Wildberries Russ) a permit for the construction of a large warehouse complex in the village of Novinki in the south of Nizhny Novgorod. Investment in the project was estimated at almost 12 billion rubles.

In August 2026, the ministry issued a permit for the construction of a secondary school for 1,225 students in the village of Krutaya, Kstovsky District — the first educational institution of its own for this settlement.
