Elections of deputies to the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Region of the eighth convocation were held in a multi-day format from 18 to 20 September 2026 — simultaneously with the federal elections of deputies to the State Duma of the ninth convocation. Alongside the elections to the Legislative Assembly and the State Duma, local elections were held in a number of the Region's municipalities: two main campaigns — in the Vyksa urban district and the Semyonov municipal district — as well as four by-elections — in the Balakhninsky, Vadskiy, and Vorotynsky municipal districts and the municipal district of Bor.[3] A total of 2,174 polling stations were opened across Nizhny Novgorod Region during the elections.

Remote electronic voting was available to residents of the Region throughout all three days — from 8:00 on 18 September to 20:00 on 20 September 2026.[3] By 12:00 on the final day of voting, 20 September 2026, overall turnout across Nizhny Novgorod Region stood at 47.16%; by that point, 1,165,934 voters had cast their ballots.
