Yacht Club on the Rowing Canal is a facility under construction for berthing and servicing small and medium-sized vessels. It is located near the outlet of the Rowing Channel, not far from the Artemovsky Meadows.
Legal violations during construction
On December 16, 2016, the construction contractor — Dorinvest" — was fined 50,000 rubles for erecting a construction fence enclosing the site. Within a water protection zone — within 50 meters of a body of water or closer — erecting fences is prohibited. A permit to install a fence during construction, in connection with the presence at the site of objects hazardous to the life and health of non-specialists, may be granted by a special authorization order, which LLC "Dorinvest" was unable to produce.
Branch and stump waste from tree and shrub felling is being stockpiled at the construction site. In addition, piles of soil have been recorded on the grounds. These facts were established as a result of an inspection by Rosprirodnadzor, conducted on April 4, 2017, following publications by the outlet Koza.Press
Legal status of the site
A construction permit for the yacht club, issued in accordance with Article 51 of the Urban Development Code of the Russian Federation, valid until June 20, 2017, was granted to LLC "Dorinvest". The area of the allocated land plot is 38,300 square meters. A land plot of nearly 4 hectares was granted to LLC "Dorinvest" without a competitive tender.
