Pamirskaya Street is a street in the Leninsky District of Nizhny Novgorod. It is among the streets that form the boundaries of the Molitovka microdistrict and adjacent areas.
Location
Pamirskaya Street serves as one of the boundaries of the Molitovka microdistrict: its limits are defined by Komsomolskaya Square, Lenin Avenue, Kosmonavta Komarova Street and Pamirskaya Street, as well as the shore of the backwater named after the 25th Anniversary of October. In the same area, between the Borzovka River and Kosmonavta Komarova and Pamirskaya Streets, lay the former village of Borzovka — a historic settlement incorporated into the city in 1929 and renamed the settlement of Pervomayevka.[1]
Infrastructure
Among the organizations registered at addresses on Pamirskaya Street is the company LLC "Dorinvest" (building 11), which held a construction permit for a yacht club on the Rowing Canal. On the plot with cadastral number 52:18:0050275:474 at Pamirskaya Street, 11, entrepreneur Valery Bekasov applied for a conditionally permitted land-use type for "retail premises" with the aim of constructing a two-storey commercial building of up to 5,000 square metres; a draft order granting the permit was prepared by the regional Ministry of Urban Development and put out for public consultation. The site earmarked for the proposed construction partially occupies a publicly accessible green area (OTOP), on which the construction of buildings and the parking of motor vehicles are prohibited by law and whose area may not be reduced; local residents also reported large-scale clearance of vegetation at the site in autumn 2025.[1] On the territory adjacent to the street, the research-and-production firm ProdKholod, associated with the machine-tool plant, operates. A historical photograph from 1930 linked to the address Pamirskaya Street, building 11, records the start of construction of the machine-tool plant — one of the major industrial facilities that shaped the character of this part of the city.[2]
