Kosmonavta Komarova Street is a street in the Leninsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, running along the historical boundaries of the Molitovka microdistrict and the former village of Borzovka. The street is named after the Soviet cosmonaut Vladimir Komarov.
Location and boundaries
The street serves as one of the landmarks used to describe the boundaries of several historical parts of the Leninsky District. The Molitovka microdistrict is bounded on one side by Kosmonavta Komarova and Pamirskaya streets, as well as by the shore of the 25th Anniversary of October Backwater and Komsomolskaya Square. The territory to the north of the street was occupied by the former village of Borzovka — between the Borzovka River and Kosmonavta Komarova and Pamirskaya streets, in the area of the present-day Machine Tool Plant.
