Tatyana Borisovna Grinevich (born 22 March 1976, the settlement of Pravdinsk, Gorky Oblast) is a deputy of the Regional Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of the 7th convocation (2021–2026), head of the "A Just Russia — Patriots — For Truth" faction, and head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the party [1][2]. She took over the branch in 2019 after the death of its longtime leader Alexander Bochkaryov [2], for whom she had worked as an assistant for a decade and a half beforehand [1]; in the summer of 2026 she was nominated as a candidate for the State Duma [6][7].

Biography

She was born on 22 March 1976 in the settlement of Pravdinsk, Gorky Oblast. In 1998 she graduated from Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University with degrees in "physical education" and "special psychology," and in 2007 from the Volga-Vyatka Academy of Public Administration with a degree in "finance and credit." She is a Candidate Master of Sports in track and field [1].

From March 2003 to October 2016 she was an assistant to Nizhny Novgorod City Duma deputy Alexander Bochkaryov, then, after his move to the regional parliament, senior assistant to a deputy of the Legislative Assembly [1]. After Bochkaryov's death in May 2019, at a conference of the regional branch of "A Just Russia" in September 2019 she was unanimously elected chair of the branch council; 48 delegates took part in the conference [2].

Outside parliament

She heads the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of "A Just Russia — Patriots — For Truth," chairing the branch council and its administrative office [3][5]. Her official biography lists no business of her own — her entire career has been spent in deputy and party structures [1].

In the Legislative Assembly

In September 2021 she was elected deputy on the party list of "A Just Russia" and became head of the party's faction in the regional parliament. She sits on the committees for budget and taxes, for housing and utilities and the fuel and energy complex, and for ecology and natural resources [1].

Her initiatives include a regional ban on night-time sales of draft alcohol in free-standing catering establishments within 35 meters of residential apartment buildings, the allocation of 51 million rubles to replace tram shelters in Nizhny Novgorod, and the clearing of the Kova and Starka rivers. More than 60% of appeals to her constituency office concern housing and utility complaints [4]. In the 2026 influence ranking of ZSNO deputies by the news agency "Nizhny Seychas," she made the top 10 — the "strong influence" group — alongside the leaders of the LDPR and "New People" factions; the leader of the Communist Party faction did not make the upper group [5].

State Duma nomination and income dispute (2026)

In the summer of 2026 she was nominated as a candidate for the State Duma of the 9th convocation in single-member constituency No. 131 [6][7]. When publishing candidate information, the Central Election Commission listed her 2025 income as 48.6 million rubles — roughly eight times her actual 6.1 million; Grinevich called the publication a technical error, remarking, "let's consider it 'an error in my favor'" — and promised to make up for it with "a good deed."
