Vladislav Olegovich Atmakhov (born 15 April 1972, Alma-Ata) is a deputy of the Regional Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Region of the 7th convocation (2021–2026), head of the LDPR faction, and chairman of the committee on ecology and environmental management [1][2]; coordinator of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the party in 2015–2020 and again since November 2022 [3][6][7]. Outside parliament, he is deputy general director of the Dzerzhinsk-based Sverdlov Plant [1][8]. He is also known as the LDPR candidate in the 2023 Nizhny Novgorod Region gubernatorial election [4].
Biography
Born 15 April 1972 in Alma-Ata. In 1989 he was drafted into the army and served two years; from 1993 he served in the internal affairs bodies. In 2005 he graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Law Academy with a degree in Law [2].
In 2005 he joined the LDPR and was elected a deputy of the Zemsky Assembly of Bor District. In 2010 he became a deputy and deputy chairman of the Dzerzhinsk city duma, and in 2012 he headed the LDPR faction in the Nizhny Novgorod city duma. Coordinator of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the LDPR in 2015–2020 and again since November 2022: at a conference on 15 November 2022 he succeeded Alexei Kruglov, who had headed the branch for the previous two years [3][6][7].
Married, raising three sons and a daughter [2].
Outside parliament
He works as deputy general director for external relations, corporate affairs, and social policy at FKP Sverdlov Plant (Dzerzhinsk) [1][8]. He previously served as deputy general director for development at the Zarya plant and headed Goodwill Service NN, a company that supplied American equipment [3].
In the Legislative Assembly
First elected to the Legislative Assembly in 2016, and re-elected to the 7th convocation in 2021 [2]. He heads the LDPR faction, chairs the committee on ecology and environmental management, and also sits on the budget and taxes committee and the transport and roads committee [1][2].
In the influence ranking of Legislative Assembly deputies compiled by the news agency "Nizhny Seychas" in 2026, he placed in the top ten — the group of deputies with "strong influence" [5].
2023 gubernatorial election
In 2023 he ran as the LDPR candidate in the Nizhny Novgorod Region gubernatorial election and placed third with 3.08% of the vote; the election was won by the incumbent governor Gleb Nikitin with 82.82% [4].
What remains to be clarified
The format of his 2021 election (single-member district or regional party-list group) and information on his income have not been confirmed; no court cases or public conflicts have been found in open sources.
