Activities

As Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Denisov oversees the development of the region's agro-industrial complex. He calls the dairy industry one of the priorities: in the five years preceding 2026, 95 new and reconstructed livestock facilities with a combined capacity of more than 33,000 head of cattle were commissioned in the Region.[2]

In September 2026, Denisov marked the start of construction of a loose-housing dairy farm for 808 head in the selo of Aleshkovo in Bogorodsky Okrug, being carried out by the Iskra agricultural company under the National Project "Technological Support for Food Security"." The estimated cost of the facility is 323 million rubles, and commissioning is scheduled for 2027. According to the minister, the company used a federal preferential lending program to finance the construction.[2]

In June 2025, Denisov, together with Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrey Sanosyan, took part in the opening of three new poultry houses in Pavlovsky Okrug, built by farmers under a partnership program of the agricultural holding "Russkoe Pole" and the Pavlovo Poultry Farm. Total investment in the construction came to about 200 million rubles. The minister noted that the new poultry houses will add about two thousand tons of poultry meat a year, while the Region's self-sufficiency in this product has grown by 10 percentage points since 2021 and stands at 63% (according to 2024 data, 89.3 thousand tons of poultry meat produced).[3]
