Main areas of scientific work
The state of public health and the work of healthcare institutions, socio-hygienic aspects of health and ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population, the activity of Russia's Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being under present-day conditions. Author of more than 200 published scientific works. Under the scientific supervision of M.A. Pozdnyakova, 11 candidate dissertations have been defended.
Membership in scientific and public organizations
Deputy chairman of the doctoral dissertation council at the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy in the specialty "general hygiene". Member of the working group developing the concept of demographic development of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast under the regional administration. Expert of the branch of the Central Attestation Commission in the Volga Federal District in the specialty "healthcare organization and public health". Coordinator of the WHO "World Health Survey" project in the Volga Federal District. Member of the editorial board of the Nizhny Novgorod Medical Journal" and of the peer-reviewed medical scientific-practical journal "Medical Almanac"; has repeatedly served as a member of the editorial boards of collections of scientific papers at regional, national, and international levels. Fluent in English and teaches in English to students of the English-language division of the Faculty for Foreign Students at Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy.
Interests
Classical music and literature, ballet, opera. Most of all she enjoys spending time with friends and family, setting the table and hosting guests (favorite dish – blini).
Hobbies
Collects porcelain mice.
