The «Nizhny Novgorod Medical Journal» was a quarterly scientific and practical journal published by the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy. The editorial office and publishing house were located in Nizhny Novgorod, Alekseevskaya Street (Dzerzhinskogo), building 1.

Publication

The journal was published quarterly and was aimed at the medical scientific and professional community. It was issued by the NGMA publishing house, which operated from 1999 to 2004; alongside the journal, the publishing house also published books on medical topics.

Editorial board

The editorial board was made up of scholars from the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy. In particular, one of the journal's editorial board members was Marina Aleksandrovna Pozdnyakova — deputy chair of the Academy's doctoral dissertation council in the specialty "general hygiene," an expert of the branch of the Central Attestation Commission in the Volga Federal District, and coordinator of the WHO project "World Health Survey" in the Volga Federal District.
