Main areas of academic activity
Research on the semantic paradigm in education, in particular, the theoretical foundations and practical implementation of the semantic paradigm in professional pedagogical education; as well as related issues logically connected to this problem: the formation of a future specialist's professional consciousness in the course of study, pedagogical support for professional meaning-formation; the technology and methodology of forming professional consciousness, a specialist's professional conceptual sphere as the basis for the formation of professional meanings, the informational foundations for the formation of professional personal meanings, etc. She continues to develop the ideas of Russian scholars (psychologists, philosophers) A.N. Leontiev, A.G. Asmolov, B.S. Bratus and others on personal meanings as the basis for the formation and development of personality.
A scholarly school, "The Semantic Paradigm in Professional Pedagogical Education," is currently taking shape. She has published 62 academic works, including: 4 monographs; 11 textbooks and teaching aids; 47 articles and conference abstracts. Under her supervision, 22 people have defended candidate dissertations. One person is currently working on a doctoral dissertation. She participates in the work of academic journals as an author, and is a member of the editorial board of the periodic annual interuniversity collection of academic articles published by the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of NGLU named after N.A. Dobrolyubov, "Problems of the Theory and Practice of Training a Modern Specialist." Her length of service in higher education is 24 years. Of these, 10 years – at the Gorky State Pedagogical Institute (now the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University), 4 years – at the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Education Development, and since 1992 – at NGLU named after N.A. Dobrolyubov.
