Trolleybus Depot No. 1 No. 3 — a division of the Nizhny Novgorod municipal electric transport enterprise, located at Lenin Avenue, 87b. It is part of the "Nizhegorodelectrotrans" structure and serves trolleybus routes in the left-bank part of the city.[2]
Location and Structure
The depot itself is located at Lenin Avenue, 87b, and is connected to several dispatch points: "Mineeva" at Kolomenskaya Street, 4, and "Yanka Kupala" at Yanka Kupala Street, 1/2.[2] The depot's contact telephone numbers are (831) 258-55-64 and (831) 258-43-50.[2]
Rolling Stock
The depot operated ZIU-682V1 trolleybuses, including the vehicle with fleet number 3606. A photograph of this trolleybus taken on the depot grounds on 28 February 2009 was published in a photo gallery of urban passenger electric transport from the former USSR and used as an illustration in materials on the Nizhny Novgorod trolleybus system.[1] The vehicle belonged to the so-called "mountain" modification of the ZIU-682V; however, according to specialists, by that time its electrical circuit had been rewired to the standard version.[1]
