Mordvintsevo is a A village within the Nizhny Novgorod region, administratively part of the Prioksky District. It is located in the southern part of the city, next to Fedyakovo (disambiguation) and the Mega shopping mall.

Under the current administrative division, Mordvintsevo is one of the villages included in the Prioksky District of Nizhny Novgorod, alongside Olgino, Beshentsevo, Blizhnee Konstantinovo, Lyakhovo, and the settlement of Luch.
The GAZ decoy during the The Great Patriotic War
During the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945), a huge decoy of the Gorky Automobile Plant was built out of plywood and glass on the fields near the village of Mordvintsevo. The purpose of the structure was to mislead German pilots who were trying to destroy the GAZ plant, which was working for the defense industry. Despite this, bombs also fell on the village itself and its surroundings: according to the recollections of local residents, women with children took shelter in cellars.
