Previous places of work

The Gorky State Design Institute "Gorkgiproneftekhim" (now OAO "Nizhegorodniineftproekt"), where he rose from chief technologist specialist of the process department to deputy chief engineer — chief technologist of the institute. From 1982 — chief engineer of the institute; in 1988 — director of the institute; and with the formation of the joint-stock company in 1994 — General Director of OAO "Nizhegorodniineftproekt".

Key facts of his career

He took a direct part in designing the construction and reconstruction of the Kstovo and Ukhta oil refineries (with the institute as general designer), the reconstruction of a plant in the city of Novi Sad in Yugoslavia, the reconstruction of oil refineries in Santiago de Cuba and Havana, and the design and construction of a new plant in Cienfuegos, Cuba (1975–1991). From 1991 to the present he has brought the institute into the ranks of the industry's leaders in the integrated design of oil-and-gas-processing and petrochemical enterprises.

"Honored Worker of the Oil and Gas Industry of the Russian Federation" (1997), "Honored Worker of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Russia" (1996), absolute winner of the "Manager of the Year 2002" competition, awarded the Honorary Badge "Leader of the Russian Economy" (2003), at the 6th Petrine Assembly awarded the Gold Badge and Diploma "Best Manager of Russia" (2004), awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District for a significant contribution to the development of OAO "Nizhegorodniineftproekt", which was awarded the title "Business Leader of the Volga Region" (2004), was granted the honorary title "Person of the Year" (International Academy of the Real Economy, 2004). Author of 40 scientific publications, including 25 inventions, academician of the International Academy of the Real Economy, corresponding member of the International Academy of Management.
