Mark 68 is a website of supporters of Raising the Water Level in the Cheboksary Hydroelectric Power Plant Reservoir. It became known for deleting comments from residents of Nizhny Novgorod. Comments from residents

Fragment of a video about the "completed" hearings:

  • Author: "The customers and contractors of the project have no complete information about karst processes, landfills, and animal burial grounds."
  • Khaziakhmetov: "Our current knowledge is indeed shallow. The administration's own representatives do not have access to some enterprises."

Comment by vfo:

And to this day, it seems, Dzerzhinsk remains a "bone in the throat".

It is sad to see, but it seems that to this day the Customer and the Design Institute keep dodging the issue, trying to minimize not the impact of the Cheboksary reservoir on Dzerzhinsk, but only the possible costs of protecting Dzerzhinsk and the amount of potential damage. The Design Institute is in no way willing to take this problem seriously. For almost six months it concealed from the Nizhny Novgorod region the results of the work of "DAR/VODGEO," which it did not like at all. In the end it found a new contractor, who, using the same factual material, produced far "prettier pictures" and forecasts. It is also worth noting how cleverly the Design Institute chose the "design territory," excluding a significant part of the developed areas of the Dzerzhinsk urban district; and how neatly it drew the boundary of this territory so as to exclude from consideration the notorious landfills and dumping grounds, and so on.

Comment by Konstantin Matrosov, a resident of Samara Oblast:

I sincerely hope that this propaganda site will not achieve its goal, and that reason will triumph over greed.
