Key facts of her work

Since 1985 she has been deeply engaged in studying the traditional folk craft of the zhbannikovo toy; from 1988 to 2004 she taught at the municipal preschool "Detstvo" (Childhood), teaching preschool-age children decorative clay modeling. On the premises of kindergarten No. 26 she organized a museum of the zhbannikovo toy. Between 1990 and 2006, drawing on folk traditions, she created around 50 kinds of original zhbannikovo-toy designs. She has taken part in regional, interregional, and All-Russian exhibitions. In 1994, as part of a Russian delegation, she took part in an international folklore festival in Teruel (Spain). Her works are held in museums of Nizhny Novgorod Region, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Pskov, Murom (Wikipedia), and Kazan.

Membership in public, scholarly, and other organizations

Since 2002, a member of the trade union of decorative and applied arts masters "Craft Gallery)"; in 2003 she was elected chair of the union's council of masters.
