Key facts of career
1970-1977 — at the Aviation Technology Research Institute in engineering positions; from 1977 — at the Kulebaki Metallurgical Plant (1977-1985 — head of the laboratory of new technological processes, 1985-1992 — deputy chief technologist for scientific and technical progress, 1992-1997 — head of the metallophysical laboratory of the central factory laboratory), deputy chief engineer, deputy general director. Since 2002, concurrently — professor of the "Physical Metallurgy, Heat and Plastic Treatment of Metals" department at NSTU. He lectures on special steels and alloys, thermo-deformation treatment of alloys, and quality control for students of the metallurgy specialty groups. Author of more than 70 scientific publications, holder of 4 inventor's certificates and 19 patents.
Membership in public and scientific organizations
Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (Moscow). Participates in the work of the NSTU dissertation council as an official opponent.
