His entire career has been connected with the Pervomaysky Plant of Machines and Instruments for Railway Transport (now OJSC "Transpnevmatika"): equipment repair fitter, design engineer, deputy chief designer, deputy chief engineer, chief engineer, and, since 1987, director.

Locomotive and railcar building, management psychology. He is the author of a number of inventions in braking equipment for railway transport, the metro, and urban electric transport.
