Oversees the work of the women's council, veterans' organizations, and the guardianship and trusteeship authorities of the Sovetsky district, and chairs the conscription commission for the Sovetsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. Since 1994 she has been a deputy of the City Council of Nizhny Novgorod for the I, II, and III convocations, was chair of the City Duma Committee on Municipal Economy and Property, and chair of the Committee on Budget, Financial, and Tax Policy.
