Gorshkova Vera Alexandrovna (born October 29, 1947) — artistic director of the municipal children's theatre "Vera", Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation.

1976–1991 — head of the studio theatre of the Interunion Palace of Culture named after Lenin; since 1992 — artistic director of the municipal children's theatre "Vera", created on the basis of the studio.
Main facts of her career
She headed an acting course at the Samara Academy of Arts and Culture, and is the head of an acting course at the Nizhny Novgorod Theatre School. She has staged more than 50 productions, among them: "Twelfth Night" by W. Shakespeare — Laureate of the All-Union Festival "Ramp of Friendship-88"; "Vaudeville Jests" by A. Chekhov — Laureate of the international competition "Bălți-89"; "Eurydice" by J. Anouilh — Laureate of the Russian Festival of Youth Theatres "Biysk-93" (also awarded a special prize at the international festival in Sochi, 1993). Organizer of the Russian festival of theatres performed by children, "Blue Bird" (1995), and of "Theatre on the Palms" and "Contact" (1995, 1997), held in Nizhny Novgorod. Participant in the international festival "Theatre in Search of Theatre" in Sochi, and participant in the European festival "Fairy Tale 2001". Laureate of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Theatre Union prize "Nizhny Novgorod Pearl-97".
