The Forging Laboratory of PTNII GSNKh, and from 1961 — lecture assistant to Professor L. D. Sokolov, then senior research engineer. Moving into teaching work, he rose from senior lecturer to professor and head of department.

He went on scientific business trips abroad to Hungary (1972) and Germany (1988, 1994). Author of 7 books, more than 250 scientific publications, and 25 inventions. He supervised 28 candidates of science and consulted on doctoral dissertations.
