Ivenin Valentin Vasilyevich (born August 21, 1958) is the vice-rector for science and head of the Department of Agriculture at the State Agricultural Academy. Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, professor.

Main area of scientific work
Development of scientifically grounded farming systems. He works on the development of energy- and resource-saving technologies in agriculture, and on biological farming systems.
Publications
Author of 166 scientific works, including 5 monographs and 7 study guides bearing the seal of the Educational and Methodological Association (UMO) and the Ministry of Agriculture. Under V. V. Ivenin's scientific supervision, 8 candidate dissertations have been defended. Member of two academic councils for the defense of doctoral dissertations. Freelance correspondent for the journal "Zemledelie" ("Agriculture"). Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
