Trud Stadium is a sports facility in the Sormovo District of Nizhny Novgorod, located on the grounds of Sormovo Park, one of the largest parks in the city. The stadium is among the attractions of the Sormovo area, alongside the Savior Transfiguration Cathedral, Sormovo Park, and the Meteor hydrofoil ship.

Location and Surroundings

The stadium lies within the boundaries of Sormovo Park. The same grounds are home to a pond with swans, an open-air summer venue for discos, a café, amusement rides, a children's playground, and the Limpopo Zoo.

Seasonal Use

In winter, an open-air ice rink is flooded at the stadium.[1] In the 2025–2026 season it opened on December 1, 2025, at the same time as the rink in Shveytsariya Park.[2] Public skating sessions are held on weekends and holidays; skate rental, a coat check, and heated changing rooms are available. The rink's address is Yubileyny Boulevard, 30.[1]
