Dolina nasilnika ("Rapist's Valley") — a vast, virtually uninhabited expanse between Petrovsky Plant, Usilova Street, Agronomicheskaya Street, and Vanevsky Bridge. The valley was given this name by Nizhny Novgorod residents for its remarkably desolate character right in the heart of the city (you understand: scream all you want, no one will hear you). Walking through the valley from Petrovsky Plant to the start of Agronomicheskaya Street takes about an hour in dry weather.
