Press Club

The Nizhny Novgorod Press Club was founded in April 2009 as a community of journalists and experts; its inaugural session was held on 18 May 2009, and within the first year the club held more than ten meetings[1]. Sudakov chairs them as coordinator.

On 30 April 2010, he moderated the discussion "Mass Media. Images of the Future" aboard the river cruiser Georgy Zhukov, timed to coincide with the club's first anniversary[1]. On the same day and at the same venue, the editorial team announced the launch of the Encyclopedia of Nizhny Novgorod — see «Opening of the Nizhny Novgorod Encyclopedia».

The club later ran the "Cultural Code" project, whose inaugural discussion was a meeting with the publicist Viktor Shenderovich (listed as a foreign agent) at the fourteenth session.
