Architectural monuments
According to the "State Lists of Historical and Cultural Monuments of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast," the village has a monument of urban planning and architecture — the Church of the Intercession (the building is dated to 1818; the document conferring its protected status is order No. 5-OD of 24 April 2000). The "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" for 1904 contains no data on this site. Judging by the characteristic features of its construction, one may assume the church was built later than 1904.
Tatyana Korolyova (city of Arzamas) sent in for publication an archival copy of the clergy list (klirovaya vedomost) of the Trinity Church of the village of Ozyorki, Arzamas Uyezd, for 1916, provided by the Central Archive of Nizhny Novgorod Region. According to this document, the stone church in honor of the Most Holy Life-Giving Trinity in Ozyorki was built in 1910 through the efforts of the parishioners, with the benefactor among the parishioners being the peasant Mikhail Andreyevich Kuznetsov (the church was consecrated on 25 April 1910). No drawing of the Trinity Church is held in the archive.
According to information from Lyudmila Fomicheva (Moscow), the church in the village of Ozyorki was built to a design by her great-grandfather Ivan Ivanovich Kuznetsov (born in the 1860s, died in the 1930s), known in the village and beyond as "the technician" (Orthodox churches were built to his drawings in Central Asia as well). After I. I. Kuznetsov's death, his documents and drawings were kept in the attic of a house in Ozyorki. His descendants still live in the village. GPS coordinates of the site: N55.248793 E44.015863:
