Ploshchad Oktyabrskaya (October Square) is a small square in the historic part of Nizhny Novgorod, located midway along Varvarskaya Street, in the Nizhegorodsky District. Varvarskaya Street connects Minin Square with Freedom Square, and Oktyabrskaya Square lies roughly halfway between them.
The square is mentioned among the landmarks of Upper Part alongside Teatralnaya Square and other urban spaces.
