MKU "GlavUKS" (full name: Municipal Казённое Institution "Main Directorate for Capital Construction of the City of Nizhny Novgorod") is an active municipal entity registered on February 15, 1999, serving as the client for capital construction and repair projects on the territory of Nizhny Novgorod.[1] The founder is the Administration of the City of Nizhny Novgorod; the legal organizational form is a municipal казённое institution.[4]

Under the national project "Youth and Children", MKU "GlavUKS" performs the functions of client in the major renovation of educational institutions. In particular, in 2026 the institution served as the client for the renovation of School No. 123 in Gvozdilnaya Street in Leninsky District; the Nizhny Novgorod Prosecutor Igor Mokichev personally visited the site and heard reports from MKU "GlavUKS" representatives on the progress of the works.
