«Krasny Yakor» (Red Anchor) Plant is a Nizhny Novgorod machine-building enterprise specializing in the manufacture of chains and related components. It was registered as a joint-stock company on October 15, 1993.[1] The plant is located at Moscow Highway, 120.[1]
Operations
The enterprise produces over 2,000 types of products,[2] spanning several lines: anchor chains and components for shipbuilding, chains and components for mining equipment, lifting chains, elevator chains, lift chains, chains for the cement industry, and general-purpose chains.[2] Its products are used in shipbuilding, mineral extraction, machine building, the oil and gas industry, agriculture, and a number of other sectors.[2]
The plant has its own production facilities with automated lines and a certified testing laboratory capable of carrying out a full range of quality checks.[2] In 2022, a new forge shop was opened; a 3D scanner is used for design and quality control purposes.[2] Finished products are stored in the company's own warehouses in Nizhny Novgorod and Kemerovo.[2]

According to financial statements for 2021, the enterprise's revenue was 1.3 billion rubles, total assets — 1.6 billion rubles, and equity — 655.6 million rubles. The average headcount for that year was 497 employees.[1] The authorized capital is 622,635 rubles.[1] In the public procurement system, the plant has concluded 114 contracts totaling 223.1 million rubles.[1]
The enterprise previously operated as a public joint-stock company (PAO), which was subsequently reorganized into a non-public joint-stock company (AO).[1] The shareholder register is maintained by AO "Novy Registrator". The General Director is Korchagin Andrey Vladimirovich (since July 14, 2025).[1]
