1954 – Lenin Radio Factory, adjuster. From 1960 he worked at the Gorky Polytechnic Institute, having entered postgraduate study at the "Electrical Machines" department. In 1965 he defended his candidate's dissertation, then worked as an assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, and professor of the department. 1977–1992 – headed the "Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering" department.
