Biography
Born on February 20 (zodiac sign: Pisces) in Nizhny Novgorod, USSR. Since 2001 she has lived in Moscow.
From childhood she absorbed the spirit of the acting profession watching the performances of her grandfather, Khlibko Nikolai Selivestrovich, at the Gorky Drama Theatre.
Elena began her modeling career at age 16 in Nizhny Novgorod. She graduated from Anna Lesnikova's modeling school. She took part in numerous shows by well-known Nizhny Novgorod designers and appeared in advertising as a model and actress. Elena has won awards in several beauty contests:
- Miss Fa Nizhny Novgorod 1997, in which she took 1st place, representing Nizhny Novgorod at the all-Russian beauty contest "Miss Fa" in Yalta, which was notable for its scale by the standards of Russia at the time. The organizers of the contest, the company Henkel, spent $1 million on the event.
- Miss Nizhny Novgorod 1998, where Elena made it into the top five finalists and received the title "Cover Girl," awarded by the Volga television company.
After graduating from the Nizhny Novgorod Commercial Institute with a degree in Law, Elena entered postgraduate studies and defended her dissertation, earning a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree. Elena soon received acting training and continued her acting career at a professional level. Starting with various variety shows, Elena quickly moved on to more serious projects. Elena Khlibko can be seen in many Russian television series and films.
