Dmitry Pavlov Street is a street in the Sormovsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, located in the central part of historic Sormovo, near the "Burevestnik" metro station. The street's buildings were built mainly between the 1990s and the 2020s.

Buildings and residential houses

The street's housing stock consists of panel and brick apartment buildings from the late Soviet and post-Soviet periods. Building No. 7 (panel, 9 floors, 108 apartments) was built in 1993, building No. 8 (panel, 9 floors, 72 apartments) in 1994, and building No. 9 (panel, 9 floors, 36 apartments) in 1996. Building No. 11 (brick and panel, 9–10 floors, 315 apartments, 9 entrances) was built in 1998; it houses homeowners' association (TSZh) No. 471, and its assigned school is School No. 9 on Pugachyov Street.[1]

In 2024–2026, construction was completed on the new "Preobrazhenie" residential complex in the block (building No. 13 / 13V). The nine-story, single-section building with 64 apartments was erected by the developer SZ StroyCity NN LLC on the site of a demolished one-story non-residential building along Stantsionnaya Street. Construction began in the second quarter of 2024, and the building was commissioned in the third quarter of 2026. Its structure is monolithic reinforced concrete with block exterior walls; it includes an underground car park with 51 spaces and open-air parking.[3][4] According to a real estate sales portal, building No. 13 is located in the "Center of Sormovo" microdistrict, within walking and transit distance of the "Center of Sormovo" stop.[4]

Infrastructure

A number of organizations operate on the street and in the adjacent buildings. Building No. 13A houses the X-Fit fitness club (Fitness-NN LLC), which offers a swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, a hammam, a jacuzzi, and group programs.[2] At building No. 30 there is a fishing supplies store, "Rybolov."[6] The nearest post office is at 6 Kultury Street; the registry office (ZAGS) of the Sormovsky District is at 9a Chernyakhovskogo Street; adult polyclinic No. 1 is at 11 Vasenko Street; and children's polyclinic No. 1 is at 17 Kultury Street.[1]
