Key facts of her career

From 1978 she began practicing decorative embroidery in a circle at the Nizhny Novgorod House of Scientists (Nizhny Novgorod). In 1991 she became head of the "Russian Patterns" club, which was awarded the title "People's Ensemble" in 2002. She works as a master-mentor, and more than 100 people have been trained in embroidery skills under her guidance. Her creative interests center on studying, reviving, and preserving traditional 19th-century embroidery and examples of monastery embroidery. She has actively taken part in city, regional, and interregional exhibitions since 1995, and has repeatedly won prizes and diplomas. Her works are held in museums of Nizhny Novgorod Region, in private collections in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Israel, and the USA. Since 2002 she has been a member of the decorative and applied arts masters' union Craft Gallery))))". For her active creative and public work she was awarded a Letter of Gratitude from the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Region and a Letter of Gratitude from the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
