One of the founders of a new field in Russia — interventional cardiology. Created a school of Nizhny Novgorod X-ray surgeons. Published more than 170 printed works, including 9 manuals and 10 monographs. Author of 9 inventions protected by author's certificates and patents: implemented at Hospital No. 5, the specialized cardiac surgery hospital of Nizhny Novgorod, and a number of medical centers across Russia. Trained 12 doctors of science and 18 candidates of science. Member of the editorial board of three leading Russian journals on radiology diagnostics — "Vestnik Rentgenologii i Radiologii" ("Bulletin of Radiology and Radiology"), "Meditsinskaya Vizualizatsiya" ("Medical Imaging"), "International Journal of Interventional Cardiology".
