Anton Alexandrovich Ananyin (born 6 August 1978, Gorky) is a Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneur and a deputy of the 7th convocation of the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, elected in September 2021[1]; on the general part of the LDPR party list he was placed third[3]. He heads OOO Volgaspetsstroy, a company engaged in building dismantling and demolition[10]. In spring 2026 he left the LDPR[7] and won the United Russia primary in territorial group No. 5[9].

Biography

From 2002 to 2007 he studied at the Volga-Vyatka Academy of State Service, majoring in "state and municipal administration"; his party questionnaire lists his education as incomplete higher education[1].

From October 1999 to July 2009 he was general director of OOO SPLAV. In July 2009 he moved to OOO Volgaspetsstroy as director for business management and development, headed the company from September 2010 to June 2021, and then, until January 2022, worked as advisor to the general director[1]. On 28 January 2022 he again became general director[10].

Outside parliament

OOO Volgaspetsstroy was registered in Nizhny Novgorod in February 2008. Ananyin owns 100% of its charter capital; the company's 2025 revenue was 3.6 billion rubles, and its average headcount was 219, down from 231 in 2024[10]. He also heads OOO Nash Park and OOO UK Vernoye Resheniye, and is listed as a founder of six organizations[11].

According to the Nizhny Novgorod LDPR branch's questionnaire, he has spent more than 120 million rubles of personal funds on social and spiritual projects; his listed awards include a letter of gratitude from the Russian Ministry of Construction and the Order of Seraphim of Sarov, 3rd degree[2].

In the Legislative Assembly

On the general part of the LDPR list for the 2021 election, Ananyin was placed third — after Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Assembly deputy Vladislav Atmakhov. In the list registered by 13 August 2021, he was listed as advisor to the general director of Volgaspetsstroy[3].

He sits on three committees: on ecology and natural resources; on economy, industry, and support for entrepreneurship, trade, and tourism; and on urban development, property, and land relations[1]. According to his party questionnaire, he has served since 2020 on the State Council of Russia's commission on "Ecology and Natural Resources," and since 2024 on the commission on "Ecological Well-Being"[2].

On 25 July 2025 it became known that Ananyin had appealed to Governor Gleb Nikitin with a proposal to name an unnamed square along Prospekt Gagarina (from building No. 104 to building No. 118) after Vladimir Zhirinovsky and to erect a monument to the LDPR's founder there at private expense, in time for the politician's 80th birthday in 2026[4][5]. According to NTA-Privolzhye, the monument was proposed for an already-existing paved area between buildings No. 108 and No. 110, with the unveiling planned for April 2026, on Zhirinovsky's birthday[4].

Move to United Russia

On 30 March 2026, the news agency "Nizhny Seychas," citing a source in the regional United Russia executive committee, reported that Ananyin intended to leave the LDPR and run for election from United Russia via the primary; the LDPR branch declined to comment[6].

On 1 April 2026, the same outlet reported that the deputy had announced his departure from the LDPR, promising to keep the same regard for the party: "I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, respect the people in the party and the party itself, and I will never forget them; I will not stop loving them in my heart and supporting the LDPR in its good deeds"[7].

On 20 April 2026, Kommersant wrote that Ananyin had entered the primary in territorial group No. 5 and was listed as non-partisan[8]. Voting took place from 25 to 31 May 2026; on 1 June, Nizhegorodskaya Pravda reported that Ananyin had won in group No. 5[9].
