After graduating from the institute, he was sent to the Middle Volga Geological Prospecting Administration (Gorky), and was assigned to the Gorky Geological Prospecting Expedition (Dzerzhinsk), where he worked as a drilling foreman, head of a drilling crew, senior engineer, chief engineer, and head of the expedition. Since 1991 — General Director of the Federal State Unitary Geological Enterprise "Volgageologiya".

Doctor of Technical Sciences. Awarded 6 government and more than 30 departmental and academic awards. Including the orders: "For Merit to the Fatherland" IV degree, "Order of the Red Banner of Labour", "Badge of Honour". As a scientist, he was awarded the gold and silver medals "For Scientific Discoveries" named after Kapitsa. For his contribution to the development of the economy and industry — the gold medal named after Peter I.

He has repeatedly received letters of thanks and diplomas for providing charitable assistance, including to the Orthodox church.

Hobbies

Classical music, poetry, painting. Author of 6 collections of poems and 1 book of prose.
