Key facts of career
During the war years he worked in the forging shop of one of the factories, and studied at an evening school for working youth. Under the guidance of Professor G. I. Aksenov, he was the first in the USSR to carry out research on the patterns of rolling various metal powders, defended his candidate's dissertation, and received the academic rank of associate professor in the mid-1950s. He carried out research into producing various powder materials. In the 1970s–1980s he was deputy head of the Department of "Metal Science and Powder Metallurgy" for research work. He defended his doctoral dissertation in 1984.

Laureate of the USSR Council of Ministers Prize, awarded jointly with a team from several organizations for work in the development of powder-rolled products. Professor of the department. Supervised a number of candidates of technical sciences. Published dozens of scholarly articles and is the author of inventions. He left the institute in the early 1990s for health reasons.
