Company history
Agat has operated on the automobile market since 1991, as an official dealer of OJSC "GAZ". Since 2001, the AGAT company has been the official distributor of OJSC "GAZ" in the Nizhny Novgorod region and other regions of Russia: the Volgograd and Astrakhan regions.
In 1997, the company developed a new line of business — sales of LADA vehicles. Today the "Agat" company is the official dealer of OJSC "AVTOVAZ".
Since 2004, the AGAT company has been the official dealer of Mitsubishi Motors and OJSC "TagAZ" in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Since 2005, AGAT has been the official sales agent for Scania in Nizhny Novgorod. In 2006, a Ford dealership center opened in Nizhny Novgorod, and Hyundai and GAZ dealership centers opened in Volgograd; the company received official Toyota dealer status and official Lexus sales partner status in Volgograd.
In 2007, new GAZ, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai dealership centers opened in Nizhny Novgorod, a Toyota dealership center opened in Volgograd, as well as a GAZ auto center in Astrakhan. That same year the company was granted official Scania dealer status in the Nizhny Novgorod region. In 2007, the "Agat" company opened a new line of business — sales of used vehicles in Nizhny Novgorod and Volgograd.
In early 2008, the AGAT company received official Geely dealer status. That same year the company reached a fundamentally new level of development, receiving official dealer status for premium brands such as Lexus and Infiniti in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
In 2009, the LADA division of the AGAT company was granted the status of official regional warehouse of OJSC "AVTOVAZ" in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
In addition to sales, the AGAT company has, from its very inception, been the official carrier for OOO TD "Russkie Mashiny" (Russian Machines Trading House). The transport company carries out more than 50% of the total volume of automobile transport of OJSC "GAZ" commercial vehicles to Russian regions.
