Orlov Yuri Fedorovich (born April 23, 1937) — professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics of the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University n.a. R.E. Alekseev named after R.E. Alekseev since 1999, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

Until 1973 – postgraduate student, assistant, associate professor at the Gorky Institute of Water Transport Engineers; 1973–1999 – senior researcher, head of laboratory at the Irkutsk Computing Center of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
