Career
Gudkov began his professional career at Moscow's Chertanovo, for whom he played 30 matches in the First League during the 2020/21 season.[1] In subsequent years the defender moved through several clubs, playing for Olimp-Dolgoprudny, Kuban, Sokol, and Tekstilshchik (Ivanovo).[1] Between 2024 and 2026 he spent two seasons at Chelyabinsk, scoring a combined total of six goals in 64 matches across the Second League and First League championships.[1]
In the summer of 2026, Nizhny Novgorod bought Gudkov's transfer from Chelyabinsk for 350,000 euros (approximately 31 million rubles). He signed a three-year contract with his new club, running until the summer of 2029.[2] At the same time, left winger Timofey Komissarov was also acquired from Chelyabinsk.[2]
