Volodarsky Settlement is a residential settlement within Nizhny Novgorod. The settlement is an established residential area with its own street network. It has 24 streets, among them Kominterna, Svobody, Vuzovskaya, Frezernaya, Vakhtangova, Barrikad, Nogina, Silikatnaya, Chaykovskogo, Efima Rubinchika, Zamknutaya, and Efremova streets, Soyuzny Avenue, and a number of side streets.[1]
Streets
Starya Kanava Street runs through the settlement, Staraya Kanava Street, stretching from Soyuzny Lane to Sutyrin Street.
Also located here is Kholmistaya Street (formerly Perekryostnaya), which is perpendicular to Vakhtangova, Vuzovskaya, and Nogina streets. Despite its name ("Hilly"), the street is perfectly flat. The bus stop of the same name, "Volodarsky Settlement," is located at 122 Svobody Street; routes to the city center, Balakhna, Bolshoye Kozino, and Gidrotorf pass through it.[2] Transport access to the settlement is provided by 22 public transport routes: 14 bus routes, 6 shuttle-taxi routes, and 2 trolleybus lines.[1]
The settlement borders five neighboring microdistricts: Staroye Sormovo, Vozhdey Revolyutsii, Svetloyarsky, Pochinki, and Tsentr Sormova.[1]
