Key facts of his career
He worked in production and in the design department of the Yuzhuralmashzavod plant ("South Urals Machine-Building Plant") in the city of Orsk, Orenburg Region. In 1962 he became a design engineer at the PTNII ("Design and Technology Research Institute") in Gorky. In 1967 he defended his candidate's dissertation and worked as a lecturer at the "Foundry Production" department of GPI. From 1974 he was an associate professor at the "Machines and Technology of Foundry Production" department of GPI. In 1999 he defended his doctoral dissertation and became a professor of the department. He carried out extensive research and development work in the theory and practice of liquid stamping of workpieces, die casting, and the development of new alloys.
His developments were put into practice at enterprises in a number of cities across the country. He served as academic secretary of the specialized Dissertation Defense Council and as academic secretary of the Faculty Council. He headed the faculty's scientific-practical seminar for staff. He is the author of more than 90 published works, including 2 books and 27 author's certificates and patents.
