MEPhI-4 (1971), major – “Instrumentation in Nuclear Physics”; Open University of Britain (1998), courses “Marketing. Management. Financial and Resource Management of the Enterprise”.

1967–1989 – at RFNC-VNIIEF (Russian Federal Nuclear Center, All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics): rose from laboratory assistant to head of a test laboratory.

Author of two inventions and more than 100 scientific publications, took direct part in 10 underground nuclear tests; founder and long-standing head of the Obyedineniye BINAR – one of the first private research-and-production enterprises, organizer of the construction of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon in Sarov; member of the Volga Federal District jury for the START innovation program.

Honorary titles

In 1981 and 1984 he was awarded the title “Best Specialist”. Letter of appreciation from the Governor and Administration of Nizhny Novgorod Region for conscientious work.

Awards

Medals “For Distinction in Labor” and “For Valiant Labor in Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V.I. Lenin”, in 2004 awarded the Order of “St. Seraphim of Sarov”; letter of appreciation from the Coordination Council of the Volga Federal District Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a major contribution to the development of the innovation complex (2004). “Certificate of a Conscientious Taxpayer for a substantial contribution to the economy of Nizhny Novgorod Region and Russia, and timely payment of taxes, fees and other contributions to budgets at all levels” (2003).
