Player of the Torpedo Hockey Club. Medalist of ice hockey championships: 1978 — champion of the USSR; 1979 — winner of the "Challenge Cup" as part of the USSR national team in three matches against the NHL All-Stars; 1985–1986 — champion of Europe; 1985–1986 — medalist of the world championships; 1986 — world champion. Winner of the "Izvestia" trophy with the USSR national team. Took part in the super series matches against NHL clubs as a member of "Krylia Sovetov", CSKA and "Dynamo" (Moscow). Winner of the Swedish Cup. In 1984 he was named player of the year. From 1988 — coach of the "Reims" team (France).
