Main areas of scientific activity
Geometric theory of dynamical systems, geometry and topology of foliations and fiber bundles with connections, geometry of pseudo-Riemannian spaces and its applications to general relativity.
Key facts of activity
Author of more than 100 published scientific works, including a textbook and 11 teaching and methodological materials. Currently working on a monograph, "Geometric Modeling of Dynamical Systems and Its Applications," and on a textbook on differential geometry and tensor analysis. This textbook will be the first textbook on differential geometry in the entire history of UNN named after N.I. Lobachevsky written by a Nizhny Novgorod professor. Over the past 10 years he has taken part in the training and certification of highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel. He has served as official opponent for 3 doctoral and several candidate dissertations, and has prepared official reviews on behalf of UNN as the leading organization for a number of candidate dissertations.
