Previous Positions

1968–1998 – service in the Armed Forces of Russia, officer, lieutenant colonel; 2001–2002 – Deputy Minister, Director of the Department of Culture and Art of Nizhny Novgorod Region; from 2004, Editor-in-Chief of the BIKAR publishing house.

Key Activities

Author of 45 books of fiction and nonfiction, including the novels and novellas "Brothers," "Alyona Arzamasskaya," "Alexander the Great," "Yaroslavichi," "Prisoners of the Badaber Fortress," "One's Own Path," "Three Days of Lieutenant Dronov," and others.

Honorary Title

Laureate of the Nizhny Novgorod Prize. Laureate of the national prizes named after Generalissimo A. Suvorov and General Skobelev, and the international prize "Imperial Culture."
