Krivova Valentina Nikolaevna (born 2 January 1951) — director of the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum since 1989.

Key facts of her career
In 1995 she completed an internship on the topic "Museum Management" in the USA, at a training and development institute based at museums in New York, Boston and other cities of New England. In 2001 — an internship on the topic "Preservation of Historical and Cultural Monuments" in the USA, in Jackson, Mississippi.
Area of scholarly and creative interests
Museum specialization and practical problems of museum studies and museum management. Since 2000 she has taught special courses for students of the "Museology" department, specialization "Art Museums", based at the history faculty of Lobachevsky University): the collection of works by Boris Kustodiev in the holdings of the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum; the catalog "Russian Graphic Art of 1920–1990 in the Collection of the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum". She prepared the exhibitions "Works by Boris Kustodiev" (1987) and "For the 50th Anniversary of Victory" (1995).
