Vadim Aleksandrovich Panin (born February 10, 1984, in Moscow) is a Russian basketball player who plays the small forward position. Since 2011 he has been associated with Nizhny Novgorod basketball: during that period he joined BC Nizhny Novgorod.[3]

Career

Panin began his professional career in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In the 1999–2000 season he played for Spartak-2, then moved to Dynamo Moscow, where he played from 2000 to 2003. In 2003–2004 he played for Dynamo (Moscow Region), and in 2004–2005 for Lokomotiv-Rostov. From 2005 to 2006 he played for Ural-Great, and from 2006 to 2007 for UNICS. In the 2007–2008 season he played for Spartak-Primorye, then spent two seasons, 2008–2010, with Triumph. In 2010–2011 he played for Khimki, after which he joined BC Nizhny Novgorod.[3]

  • 2007 — European Cup finalist; silver medalist of the Russian Championship.
  • 2009 — bronze medalist of the FIBA Europe Cup.
  • 2011 — winner of the VTB United League championship; silver medalist of the Russian Championship.

The athlete's height is 203 cm (6 ft 8 in), and his weight is 99 kg (218 lb).[3]
