Vacha Central District Hospital (Vacha CRH) is a state medical institution in the Vachsky District. As part of the regional programme to build a Nizhny Novgorod Region Intermunicipal Medical Centers, it was reorganised into a branch of the Oka Inter-District Medical Centre, headquartered in Pavlovo.
Incorporation into the Oka Inter-District Medical Centre
At the end of August 2025, Pavlovo Central District Hospital was officially renamed the Oka Inter-District Medical Centre and given the status of the lead organisation of the association. Vacha CRH, together with Sosnovskoye CRH, joined the new association as a branch. The unified centre now employs more than 330 doctors and over 1,100 mid-level medical specialists. The merger made it possible to organise visiting appointments by narrow-profile specialists from Pavlovo CRH in the attached districts, including Vachsky, on a flexible schedule.
