Fadeyev Hills — the elevated part of the forest-steppe Right Bank along the shores of the Volga, from Kstovo to the mouth of the Sura.
Relative elevations reach up to 160 m.
The soils are rich, the forest has been almost entirely cleared, and the land is plowed, except for a few slopes that retain steppe vegetation. The terrain closer to the Volga is rugged, with deep, steep-sided ravines; farther inland lie hills and dry valleys.
The town of Lyskovo and the urban-type settlement of Vorotynets stand on the Fadeyev Hills.
